Working the Black Sandlots around the world

Working inside the Black Sandlots
(another perspective)

Many people didn’t know it takes a lot of blood sweat and tears to work inside the black sandlots scattered around the country. Working inside these places is similar to working underground mines and requires many of the same tools or techniques used in hard rock mining to get the most out of the rocks and turn it into sand or dust. A rock crusher’s basic function is pretty simple ~ to crush the rocks. It is a controlled process of course but nevertheless the goal is simple~ to crush the rocks.

Crushing rocks has to be precise in nature in order to capture and control the entire process where there are no remnants of the original rocks and assurances that the hard rocks dumped are pulverized and gathered in a neatly wrapped package.  Let’s look at some of these rock crushers and how they work is designed to work:

Mortar and Pestle crushers – this is the most basic of the crushers usually a hammer and anvil kind of set up. This is reflected by poor hiring practices to ensure enough of these basic crushers are hired and available to perform their tasks assigned. You see them in many sandboxes and sandlots but the harshest are in the black sandboxes.

Jaw crushers are an upgrade of the basic crusher functions. They are the ones that will make sure the rock are broken and crushed in all spaces and ensures the crushed dust is packed tighter and tighter in the space provided in the sandlots. These jaw crushers work on demand and perform flawless in their task to break rocks down to where the mortal and pestle method is satisfactorily used to maintain order. Crushed material moves progressively downwards, being crushed smaller and smaller, until it fits through the gap between the two surfaces.

Hammer crushers -When working with stubborn rocks the need for a hammer is called for to literally knock rocks to pieces, smaller and smaller pieces so they can be managed by other crushers.
Stamp mill crushers play a huge part in the extraction throughout these sandlots. They specialize in turning the pressure up and work day and night to increase the crushing capacity and effectiveness. Stamp mills crushers have played a huge part in mineral extraction throughout the world.
Glossary –

  • Mortar and Pestle crusher is the correctional officer assigned to the sandlot
  • Jaw crushers are the specialized cell extraction teams used to extricate and remove rocks so they can be crushed with the other rocks
  • Hammer mill crushers are the supervisors who work on identifying the problematic rocks and literally knock the large rocks into smaller pieces so they can be managed more easily.
  • Stamp mill crushers are rogue correctional officers, supervisors or administrators that work day and night to impose cruel and harsh punishment to soften the rocks making it easier for other crushers to increase their effectiveness when handling them. Their actions set the example for other rocks to be less resistant and to obey the jaw crushers when they come.
  • Rocks are prisoners kept inside the sandlots
  • Sandlots are prisons managed with abusive, punitive methods and inflict pain and injuries with neglect and torturous methods imposed by the rock crushers. Imagine the sandbox being raked by a large rock tumbler loaded with heavy steel ball bearing followed by jaw crushers, hammer crushers and stamp mill crushers and you'd have the basics of what life is inside these sandboxes.

PHOENIX (AP) - A human-rights group is accusing Arizona of violating international law by improperly using "cruel isolation" for years at a time for non-violent or mentally ill inmates and depriving them of basic physical and mental health care.
In a lengthy report issued Tuesday, Amnesty International writes that of the more than 2,900 inmates being held in Arizona's maximum-security facilities, more than 2,000 are confined by themselves in windowless cells for up to 24 hours a day in conditions that amount to sensory deprivation.
The group said it obtained its statistics from the Arizona Department of Corrections.
Corrections spokesman Bill Lamoreaux confirmed that more than 2,000 inmates are confined in the cells by themselves but said that neither he nor Director Charles Ryan could comment on the report because it references ongoing litigation.  READ MORE by clicking LINK
